The best companies you can work for remotely

When it comes to remote working. There are a lot of companies out there. But when deciding to go remote, one should choose wisely. You don’t want a company using “remote working” as an excuse to make you work all day. Or a company monitoring all your moves

I have a list of the best companies I keep an eye on to learn more about their culture and products. And today, I’ll be sharing them with you. They are the best companies taking into account the culture, the processes, and the mission/product.

Without further ado, here are the best distributed/remote companies out there for me:

Basecamp

Open to remote working from Anywhere

Basecamp is the company behind Basecamp, the project management tool for teams. And the new email tool Hey. The whole company works remotely.

Basecamp’s CEO Jason Fried and CTO DHH are well known in the remote community. In fact, they wrote the Remote: Office not required book. Alongside other remote-work related books.

When it comes to compensation, Basecamp takes the lead. They are paying Silicon Valley salaries for everyone, anywhere.

The downside is they don’t have a lot of job openings. So keep an eye on their jobs page, or subscribe to get the latest offers in your email.
